Description

The Client Solutions Manager (CSM) serves as the primary strategic advisor and relationship manager for client engagements, ensuring high-level of service delivery, client satisfaction, and effective scope management. This highly visible role strengthens relationships with both clients and consultants, acting as the key liaison between clients and our technical team. The CSM is responsible for driving successful delivery, adoption, and value realization throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Within our Data & Analytics division, the CSM collaborates with an agile team to develop data & analytic solutions, delivering human-centered experiences that benefit end users. This role drives project discovery, design, and delivery, building the client backlog and guiding the team through development, demonstrating progress at the end of each cycle.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Partnership: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders, deeply understanding their business drivers, challenges, and strategic objectives.
  • Solution Alignment: Translate client business needs into actionable solution roadmaps, ensuring our consulting services directly address core challenges and deliver measurable value.
  • Engagement Oversight: Manage the overall health, progress, and quality of client engagements, coordinating with delivery teams to ensure timely execution against defined scope and objectives.
  • Value Demonstration: Define success metrics in partnership with clients and track progress throughout the engagement, clearly articulating ROI and business impact of implemented solutions.
  • Design Thinking: Apply Human Centered Design (HCD) and UX best-practices to the development and delivery of Analytics products. Take a user-centered / Design Thinking approach to development and rapidly test & iterate designs from low-fidelity to high.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks or challenges to project success, developing mitigation strategies and driving resolution in collaboration with delivery teams.
  • Change Management: Guide clients through organizational change associated with implementing new solutions, addressing adoption barriers and ensuring sustainable transformation.
  • Growth Opportunity Identification: Recognize and cultivate expansion opportunities within existing client relationships, identifying additional challenges where our services can deliver value.
  • Executive Communication: Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions, effectively communicating engagement status, outcomes, and future opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams across sales, delivery, and subject matter experts to orchestrate cohesive client experiences from initial engagement through implementation.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging practices relevant to clients' businesses, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, with a strong understanding of data platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, client relationship management, or similar client-facing roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more visual reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Spotfire, or similar tool.
  • Proven track record of managing complex client engagements and driving successful outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand varied industry challenges and connect solutions to business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with change management methodologies and driving technology adoption.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education
  • Industry certifications in project management, consulting, or relevant technology domains a plus

Where You'll Work

Preferred hybrid over remote. This is preferred to work a hybrid, on-site /remote schedule, out of the Castleton, Indianapolis, IN office.
