Description
The Document Capture Application Administrator is primarily responsible for ensuring day-to-day production support of the high volume, mission critical Document Capture/Imaging system within an OpenText Captiva/Intelligent Capture environment. This role will operate on a 10:30am-7:30pm shift. Extended hours support could occur but is not routine. Our Flex PTO policy offsets extended hours. The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Provide support for existing production applications, for troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Identify root cause of production Captiva/Intelligent Capture issues and document root cause and solution
- Identify and resolve errors proactively or as reported
- Develop database queries and create reports as needed by both internal and external stakeholders
- Write/maintain required documentation for configurations, change management tasks, reoccurring issues and interfacing applications
- Provide system monitoring and participate in problem resolution of application and environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or MIS and/or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of proven consulting experience including producing and conducting technical presentations
- Experience with Document Capture technologies such as Intelligent Capture/Captiva or Kofax
- Wide knowledge of scanning and imaging related tools and technologies
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving user issues for customers and communicating with management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Inquisitive with a desire to better understand the software and workflows being utilized
- Ability to be a team player and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Knowledgeable about Oracle Database scripting queries
- Ability to assist with patching, configuring, testing, and application/environment upgrades
- Knowledge in Captiva Advanced Recognition, Standard Import, Opex Import, and Image Conversion
- Understanding of security implications of changes to systems
- Working experience with Document Management/Content Management solutions
- Unit and component test planning and execution experience
- Experience working in the Agile framework
Where You'll Work
Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. You will have the choice to work from one of our office locations, flex your time, or remain fully remote (in the U.S.).
