Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Front-End Developer to join our team, focusing on Angular development with the ability to assist with back-end development in a containerized, microservices-based architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Angular, with experience spanning multiple versions, and a solid understanding of back-end technologies within the Java ecosystem.

• Lead the upgrade of our Angular application to current version, refactoring code and ensuring compatibility.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end code in Angular for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
• Integrate back-end APIs with front-end elements, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
• Implement and maintain databases with MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, adhering to best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks, particularly within the Angular ecosystem, and evaluate their adoption to enhance our applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Angular experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java, C#, or a similar development language.
• Experience with microservices architecture, including JHipster, and Axon.
• Knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues in front-end and back-end code.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Where You'll Work

Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. You will have the choice to work from one of our Indianapolis, IN office locations, or flex your time. This is a hybrid/onsite position.
