Description

Within our Data & Analytics division, our consultants work in a collaborative and fast paced environment. Consultants are self-motived and are passionate about the ever-evolving data and technology space. This role will provide the opportunity to implement solutions that unlock the power of data driven decision making across various organizations and industries. Moser Consulting delivers services which allow our consultants to serve clients through consultancy services, professional services, or fully managed services like Honeycomb. We have consultant levels from associate to principal depending on each candidate’s experience. Role Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Deploy, and Monitor complex data pipelines which may contain various required transformations of data using various languages and techniques.
• Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
• Working with stakeholders on data-related technical issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working with tools such as Snowflake, Python and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Cloud Architectures involving Data Lakes, Ingestion Frameworks, and Transformation and Data Set generation.
• Proven ability to design and develop tailored data structures. Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and advance SQL functions/statements using Snowflake and T-SQL.
• Proficient in writing advanced / complex SQL statements; expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries required.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT fundamentals and solutions involving tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fivetran and SSIS.
• Ability to create functioning ETL prototypes to address quickly changing business needs.
• Previous projects should display technical leadership with an emphasis on data warehouse solutions and/or business intelligence solutions.
• Become a data subject matter expert and triage data quality issues.
• Ability to develop autonomous solutions with a goal to reduce manual work.
• Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer information systems, computer science, data management, information technology, information science, informatics, or work experience of equal value to formal education.
• Post-graduate degrees and/or certifications are beneficial.

Where You'll Work

Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of our downtown Indianapolis office.

Salary

At Moser Consulting, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The $100k-$130k salary range for this role is not just a number—it’s a reflection of the value we place on the skills and experience our employees bring to our team.
